In 1999 – 2005 Ms. D.Rakauskaite was involved in private equity activities working with Scandinavian Baltic Development as investment manager. She was responsible for the financial evaluation of acquisition and exit targets, continuous follow up and analysis of financial situation of portfolio companies, transferring know-how and work in cooperation with management in order to increase value of portfolio companies.

In 1994 – 1998 Ms. D.Rakauskaite was a financial analyst at Suprema, one of the leading brokerage securities houses in the Baltic’s. She has been concentrating on food, construction, utilities, oil, textile, wood and paper sectors and stock market research.

In 1995 Ms. D.Rakauskaite got a diploma in Systemic Economic Analysis (Economic cybernetics), Vilnius University. In 1997 she finished Master of Finance studies at Vilnius University.

In 2003 Ms. D.Rakauskaite succesfully completed the Chartered financial analyst program organized by Association of Investment Management and Research (now named CFA Institute) and earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

In 2004 Ms. D.Rakauskaite was nominated as the Most Outstanding Young Person of Year 2004 on the field of personal improvement and accomplishment by Junior Chamber International Lithuania.

Ms. D.Rakauskaite is the president of Financial Analyst Asociation located in Lithuania. She is one of the founders of the Association (www.finansai.lt) since 1999 and the member of CFA Institute since 2002.
